According to preliminary information, a 52-year-old resident of Gomel, driving a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minivan, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a MAZ logging truck.
As a result of the accident, the Mercedes driver died on the spot. His 22-year-old son, who was a passenger, sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
