The new norms apply primarily to participants in foreign economic activity. Tokens can be used for:
- export and import of goods;
- export and import of services and works;
- transactions with intellectual property objects;
- certain operations of forex companies;
- carrying out leasing activities.
The government notes that the resolution was adopted to implement the provisions of Decree No. 19 "On Cryptobanks and Certain Issues of Control in the Sphere of Digital Signs (Tokens)", signed on January 16, 2026.
According to the authorities' plan, the new mechanism should expand the capabilities of Belarusian companies when conducting export-import operations and developing international settlements using digital assets.
