The Bogushevich Prize Shortlist Included Not Only Books, But Also Podcasts and Video Programs, Including "Sarmatian Moustache"

Seven works were included in the final selection — books, podcasts, and author's media projects that explore Belarusian memory, language, history, and contemporary experience through literature, reporting, folklore, and visual storytelling, writes Belarusian PEN.

The Francišak Bahuševič Prize — an annual literary award, established in 1996. Traditionally, it is awarded for the best works that serve to restore historical memory and contribute to the formation and strengthening of Belarusian identity.

The name of the 2025 laureate will be announced separately.
