Armenia's Prime Minister published a video where he contentedly looks into the camera.

All this is accompanied by the legendary We Are The Champions by Queen, which is played after victories, for example, in the Champions League final. On the lapel of his jacket is a badge that replicates the contours of Armenia.

Nikol Pashinyan won yesterday's parliamentary elections in Armenia. His "Civil Contract" bloc received 49.81 percent of the votes, which gives them 60 percent of the seats.

The opposition alliance "Strong Armenia," led by Samvel Karapetyan, a Russian businessman of Armenian origin, gained 23.29%. Another bloc of opposition forces — "Armenia," led by the country's former president Robert Kocharyan, receives 9.94%.

"The Civil Contract party will form a government independently," Pashinyan noted at a press conference.

Pashinyan has been leading Armenia since April 2018; he came to power during protests.
