Iranian student arrested in Minsk for comments about Iran was deported from Belarus
But not to her homeland, but to Armenia.
Iranian dental student Khatereh Hadadadi was detained in Belarus for comments about Iran in one of the Telegram channels.
She was initially sentenced to 14 days of arrest, but after the term expired, she was not released but was kept awaiting deportation.
According to a source from "Viasna", because Georgia refused to accept Khatereh, fearing that Iranian authorities might abduct her there, she was ultimately deported to Armenia. It is known that while she was in the temporary detention facility, journalists visited her and filmed a story about her. This was reported to "Viasna" by a woman who was with Khatereh Hadadadi in the Akrestsina temporary detention facility.
