Russians struck a spent nuclear fuel storage facility near the Chornobyl NPP
Tonight, the Russian army struck the building of the Centralized Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage Facility, Energoatom reports.
According to the company, the container reception building was partially destroyed. Spent nuclear fuel was not stored there.
After the strike, a fire broke out, which has already been extinguished. There are no casualties among the personnel.
Energoatom stated that the radiation background remains within normal limits.
Russia has not commented on the strike.
