Pope Leo XIV urged Putin to return to negotiations after new strikes on Ukraine

Pope Leo XIV called on Vladimir Putin to return to negotiations with Ukraine. «We must return to negotiations. Pressure must be applied to stop the violence and war and find a solution,» he told reporters aboard the plane on the way to Madrid.
The Pope also stated that he is very concerned about the situation in Ukraine.
«Too many people are dying there, we must put an end to the violence and war,» Leo XIV noted.
