After the break, the Belarusian team continued to dominate on the field. In the 48th minute, Artsyom Shumanski scored the third goal with an accurate shot from outside the penalty area. Towards the end of the match, Yauhen Yablonski scored, after which the Syrians managed to score a consolation goal.

This was the second meeting between the national teams of Belarus and Syria. The previous match took place in 2022 in Dubai and also ended with a victory for the Belarusians — 1:0.

The next friendly match of the Belarus national team will be held on June 9 in Minsk against the Burkina Faso team.

This year, Viktor Goncharenko's team has already won three friendly matches in a row. Earlier, the Belarusians defeated the national teams of Cyprus (1:0) and Armenia (2:1).

In autumn, the national team will participate in the new UEFA Nations League season, where their opponents will be the national teams of Finland, San Marino, and Albania.
