"If these are achievements, it's scary to imagine what they aren't showing us."

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), they decided to boast about the achievements of local robotics.

"Robots at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum play football, dance, and try to answer guests' questions," writes RBC, showing a video that, for the journalists themselves, clearly raises questions.

For example, the correspondent failed to make the robot in the form of a girl talk: "What's your name? Say something." The RBC correspondent could not find out the name of the humanoid robot at the "Soul of Russia" stand at SPIEF," the publication reports.

Even pro-Kremlin bloggers could not refrain from indignation and mockery.

For example, the well-known Z-blogger Ilya Tumanov (Fighterbomber) sharply commented on what he saw, stating that if the media presents this as some kind of success, then it is even scary to imagine what shame is happening behind the scenes. "If these are the achievements that our media show us from SPIEF-2026, it's scary to imagine what they are not showing us," he wrote.
