Worker killed by a board in Hantsavichy
The accident at the woodworking enterprise occurred on May 27, the Investigative Committee reported.
During the sawing of timber on a circular saw machine, a board was ejected, fatally injuring a 56-year-old man.
The man was not authorized to work and had not undergone appropriate training.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 306 (violation of labor protection rules, which by negligence resulted in the death of a person).
