Iran attacked US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain
Tehran called it a response to American strikes.
Bahrain closed its airspace; planes were forced to bypass the region – which hadn't happened for a month, since the cessation of mutual strikes between the US, Israel, and Iran. Also, burning debris fell in Kuwait.
Sirens also sounded in Saudi Arabia.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that the attacks were carried out in response to "outrageous aggression" by the US and strikes on positions on Qeshm Island.
The IRGC reported that missile strikes were launched at the American base in Kuwait.
"Further aggression or any action that violates even one inch of our borders and sovereignty will be met with a destructive and decisive response," the IRGC stated.
