Lukashenka Nervously Commented on Tsikhanouskaya's Visit to Kyiv
In Astana on May 29, journalists asked Alexander Lukashenka about the statements made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding Belarus. Commenting on this , Lukashenka also noted the visit of representatives of Belarusian democratic forces led by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya to Kyiv. Lukashenka's words on this matter were published by his press service with a two-day delay.
— Our "quiet losers," he [Volodymyr Zelenskyy] supposedly invited them and so on. I am glad that he invited them, — said Lukashenka.
According to him, he watched information about the visit of democratic forces to Ukraine on Russian propaganda television.
— And thanks to the Russians who noticed this — the TV crews, I heard this broadcast on RTR. It's good that they looked at our so-called opposition, — he said and couldn't control his nerves. —
This is no opposition. These are bandits. And they expect that there they will train militants from among Belarusians, Ukrainians, Poles, and even Lithuanians, and they will move and seize some district center [on the territory of Belarus].
Lukashenka threatened on this matter: "God forbid if a military attack on the territory of Belarus is carried out from any territory — the war will acquire a completely different quality in Ukraine. I will not elaborate, you understand yourself (addressing the journalist. — NN), what I mean."
