German Foreign Minister: "We will not be intimidated or divided"
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, during a visit to the UN in New York, announced a united reaction from NATO and the EU to the crash of a Russian drone in Romania, writes Bild.
"We will not be intimidated or divided. We will give a joint response to these actions by Russia. All our solidarity is with our NATO ally and EU partner, Romania."
According to him, this incident shows that Russia's reckless actions threaten the security of citizens across Europe. Therefore, European countries will resolutely help Ukraine and strengthen their own defense capabilities.
"Vigilance is the price of freedom. This old NATO motto takes on new meaning today," said Wadephul.
On the night of May 29, a drone crashed into a ten-story residential building in the border town of Galați in southeastern Romania. As a result, an explosion and a fire broke out on the tenth floor.
