In Minsk, a man beat a foreigner in a metro underpass
The resident of Baranovichi was in a bad mood, and she didn't know Russian.
The incident occurred in the underground passage of the "Instytut Kultury" metro station, where the foreigner was waiting for her friend. An intoxicated man approached her and started asking something. The girl replied in French — she spoke neither Russian nor Belarusian, "Minsk-Novosti" reports.
The girl was about to leave, but at that moment, she received a blow to the back. After that, the man grabbed her arm and punched her in the stomach.
It turned out that the attacker is a 46-year-old resident of Baranovichi, who works as a forklift driver. He was detained. In court, the man explained his actions by his bad mood: he came to Minsk to buy a car but lost his mobile phone on the way.
For hooliganism, the court sentenced him to one month of arrest. In addition, the man was prescribed compulsory treatment for chronic alcoholism.
