The association of former security forces Belpol published the first part of a large-scale investigation into the network of Belarusian special services abroad. The names of KGB and GRU officers working under diplomatic cover in the USA, Europe, and Russia have been named.

In the Belarusian special services, espionage in foreign countries under diplomatic cover is carried out by the Foreign Intelligence Directorate of the KGB Central Office and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. This is military intelligence, its abbreviation is GRU. Diplomatic cover is the embedding of special service representatives into diplomatic positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the MFA apparatus, representatives of the special services are permanently concentrated in the diplomatic security department, which is divided into the classified department, the internal security sector, and the special communications sector. All leadership and key positions in it are held by special service officers.
The head of the department is Uladzislau Barysavič Hlushkou, born in 1968. A native of Vileika, Minsk region, registered in Minsk on Makaenka Street. Chief Specialist of the Internal Security Sector is a native of Vitebsk, Eduard Anatolievich Dalmat, born in 1978. In reality, he is an officer of the KGB central office. Currently registered in Minsk on Kazimirouskaya Street. Under diplomatic cover since 2021. He traveled on missions to Ukraine under the guise of a diplomat.
The Head of the Special Communications Sector is a native of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region, Russia, Viktor Piatrovich Kamyenyev, born in 1958. Assistant Military Attaché Yauhen Anatolievich Kasaviets, born in 1982 in the family of a Soviet officer who served in Czechoslovakia.
