Head of European diplomacy Kaja Kallas sharply reacted to another massive Russian strike on Ukrainian cities, including the use of the 'Oreshnik' medium-range ballistic missile. She wrote about this on the social network X.

According to Kallas, Moscow took this step due to failures on the front line:

«Russia has reached a stalemate on the battlefield, so it terrorizes Ukraine with deliberate strikes on city centers».

The politician emphasized that such attacks are directed precisely against the civilian population and called them «abhorrent acts of terror designed to destroy as many civilians as possible».

Kaja Kallas paid special attention to the use of the latest missile system by Russian troops:

«Reports of Moscow's use of 'Oreshnik' medium-range ballistic missiles — systems designed to carry nuclear warheads — are a tactic of political intimidation and reckless nuclear brinkmanship».

The head of EU diplomacy also announced a serious response from European countries. She reported that next week the foreign ministers of the European Union countries will gather together to discuss «how to intensify international pressure on Russia».
