In Minsk, demolition of two-story buildings on Koltsova Street will begin

Phased reconstruction of the territory with gradual demolition of two-story residential buildings is planned in the area of Koltsova Street in Minsk. This was announced on air by Irina Hontarava, Chair of the Construction and Investment Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, report "Minsk News".
— This refers to old two-story houses that are subject to renovation within urban development projects. Today, these buildings are morally outdated; sheds with an unattractive appearance have been preserved in the inner courtyards, — noted I. Hontarava.
The first house to be demolished will be located at: Koltsova Street, 13. Its demolition is planned to begin this year. A new apartment building is planned to be constructed in its place, where residents of the remaining houses slated for demolition will be relocated. Only after this will the site be cleared, and further development of the area with multi-story buildings will begin.
— This approach allows for the relocation of residents within the district, without the need to move to other parts of the city, and to implement the reconstruction gradually, over several years, — explained Irina Hontarava.
