How much rental housing is currently being built in Minsk? One of the houses — for security forces
Six rental residential buildings are being constructed in Minsk on various sites. This was said on the program "Minsk Speaks and Shows" by Iryna Hontarava, head of the Construction and Investment Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The construction of such housing is financed from several sources.
“The first source is funds received from already constructed rental housing, the so-called city rental housing. It is distributed among those on waiting lists for improved housing conditions, through district administrations. The second source is the republican budget for employees of security agencies. The third is from enterprises' own funds for their employees,” Hontarava explained.
One of the houses is being built within the boundaries of Karvata, Hiealahichnaya, and Suvyazistau streets. It is being constructed with funds from enterprises and is intended for their employees. Four rental houses are being built in the area of M. Lynkova, P. Hlebki streets, and Masliukouschyna drive. These objects are also being constructed with the participation of enterprises and the city; employees and citizens on the waiting list will be settled there.
Another rental house is being built in Loshytsa using funds from the republican budget and is intended for employees of security agencies.
A separate house in the same residential area is being built using funds from the city's special account.
“The volume of rental housing construction is increasing annually, and this trend will continue given the demand,” Hontarava noted.
