Speaking at the White House, Trump told reporters that Tehran's proposal was unacceptable and stated that he had a plan for further negotiations.

"It was just unacceptable. You know, a lot of people were saying, 'Well, does he have a plan?' Yes, of course, they do... I have the best plan in history. And Iran suffered a military defeat. Complete. They have a little bit left of what they probably accumulated during this time. We will destroy it in about a day. But I do have a plan. You know, it's a very simple plan. I don't know why you don't say it as it is. Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. They are very dangerous. They are very unstable," Trump said.

When asked about the state of the truce with Tehran, Trump replied that it was "incredibly weak."

"I would say that right now it's the weakest truce. After I read that piece of garbage they sent us. I didn't even finish reading it. I said, 'I'm not going to waste my time reading.' I would say that right now it's one of the weakest truces," he noted.
