First power unit of Belarusian NPP reconnected to the grid

After the completion of preventive maintenance on the equipment, power unit No. 1 of the Belarusian NPP was reconnected to the grid on May 6, 2026, the nuclear power plant announced in its Telegram channel.
A week ago, on April 27, power unit No. 1 was disconnected from the grid for preventive maintenance on the equipment.
The radiation background in the area of the plant remained unchanged, it was reported at the time.
