A Russian man, who lives in several cities including Minsk, published a humorous post in which he managed to portray himself as "one of their own." Belarusians, who usually don't hide their indignation on social media about the behavior of visiting Russians and ask them to either act more respectfully or not come at all, praised the blogger this time.
Russian director Nikita Yanushpolsky published a jocular story about how, after receiving a residence permit in Belarus, he himself gradually becomes Belarusian in some ways. Switching to Trasianka (a mix of Belarusian and Russian), he even adds that his friends from Russia have nothing to do here — "Belarus is not made of rubber!"
