What it might be is yet to be determined, specialists noted.

In 2018, remains of a 12th-century stone church were found on the territory of the New Castle. Researchers then suggested that it might be the Church of the Resurrection, known from chronicles.

The new discovery once again confirms the fact that the territory of Zamkavaya Hara (Castle Hill) was densely built up in ancient times.
