Minsk authorities named the cost of free medicine in the capital
The city authorities reported how much a visit to the dentist, an ambulance call, and one day in intensive care cost the budget. The figures were announced by the chairman of the Healthcare Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Yury Horbich, Minsk-News writes.
— One patient visit to a therapeutic profile doctor costs the budget approximately 45 rubles, to a dentist (due to the use of expensive equipment and materials) — almost 70 rubles, a pediatrician's appointment — about 40 rubles, — Horbich said.
The work of emergency services and hospitals is significantly more expensive. One ambulance brigade call in 2025 cost the budget 245 rubles. One bed-day in a regular ward cost the budget about 430 rubles. If a patient is in intensive care, the cost of one day is almost 1700 rubles.
— This is the cost only for staying in the ward, without taking into account expensive medicines, which can multiply the final "bill," — emphasized the head of the Healthcare Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
