Pashinyan Forms a Music Band
The first performance will take place on January 30 in Yerevan.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is forming a music band.
Pashinyan published the band's logo and name — "Varchaband" — on social media. The name consists of the first two syllables of the word "premier" in Armenian and the word "band".

On January 16, Pashinyan announced that the collective's first performance would take place on January 30 in Yerevan, writes "Suspilne". He promised to announce the concert venue additionally. Entry to the event will be possible after pre-registration.
"I invite you to the dance floor. We play — you dance," Pashinyan wrote.
In August 2025, the "Hraparak" newspaper wrote that Nikol Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan had begun mastering musical instruments, particularly playing the guitar and drums. Later, the Prime Minister repeatedly published videos of himself playing the drums.
