A street in Ukraine was named after Miroslav Lazouski, who died in Bakhmut

The street will be in the city of Rivne.

At a meeting of the commission on naming urban toponymic objects and establishing memorial signs on the territory of the Rivne City Territorial Community, several decisions were made regarding names and renamings.

In particular, it was decided to name project street number 5 after the Belarusian Miroslav Lazouski.

Friends of Miroslav told "Nasha Niva" that the Kalinouski Regiment sent a petition to the Rivne administration, his former colleagues prepared the argumentation, and they didn't even expect the decision to be made so quickly.

Miroslav Lazouski, one of the founders of the "White Legion" in Belarus in the 1990s and a popularizer of Belarusian culture, died on May 16, 2023, in a battle near Bakhmut.
